Need Wireless help.

So the other day I tried to put a password on my wireless router (linksys) and now shit has hit the fan and my laptop will pick up the router but won't get the internet.  FUcking linksys says i need to extend my tech support to get any help from them which is bullshit.  anyways just wondering if anyone has had this problem or know's how to fix this.

did you try turning it off, then on.

it fixed the internet on south park.

other than that no sorry, wireless shit is so gay sometimes. but if you know how to get into your router its not hard to reset all your settings and start fresh. find your ip and type it into the browser address bar with a computer that is hooked up to the router physicly with an ethernet cord.

^did that and can change all the settings.  had an apple guy talk me through my own computer and says it's the router.  i get the internet through my modem directly and can access my wireless routers settings through wireless but no internet. aahhhhh

this could be something super easy, trying just check your authentication and other properties of the network via your laptop. One thing i can think of that would do that is if you had automatic dns turned off(i have done that before).
