Ok there are a LOT of threads on this but the 2011 skis are coming out so need to update!

I need new skis!!!!

The issue is that my nearest "real" mountain is 10 hours drive away, so i don't have the luxury of taking a whole quiver of skis with me as getting the mountains is a case of driving/plane/train...

so what i need is a ski that does it all!

to be honest when i go to a real mountain i hardly ever go to the park - because i can do that all at home on the snoflex!

obvious i can't choose the conditions so i want a ski that can shred deep pow and rip hard snow (esp. the chopped up 3 day old pow crusty stuff) and piste - and prehaps a little park

ski that come to mind:
Kung fujas
Atomic bentchetlers

any advice on those or other suggestions (esp. less well known companies) will be greatly appreciated!

Blends and Lizzies are also others to consider. Next years Blends are going to have some rocker too. But right now the Blends and Lizzies are some of the top one quiver skis.

benchetlers and fujas are very different. fujas will be better on groomers and when you lap through the park. armada ARVs would also be another to consider

The blends are very versitial and can take the pow..thats choppy pow and then be taken on the park..

The LINE Blend, Rossi S5. I don't think the Bentchetlers would be a great all mountain ski, unless you live in the Sierra Nevada's. I think you'd like a little narrower ski for the harder packed stuff.

I've not skied the BLEND, but have been looking at it for quite some time, but the S5 is the all mountain tool!

Kung Fujas or the seths. Next years Kung fu's are wider and have what K2 calls "all-terrain rocker." Kind of a long slow rising mellow rockered tip. The ski is super playful and light, excellent all mountain ski. The seth is a charging big mountain ski that can still rip on groomers. Seths would be better in pow and have a "powder rocker" tip and "all terrain rocker" tail.

I've ski'd both pairs and both rip at high speed groomers. My vote is for the seth but if you're looking for something less rockered.. get the kung fujas.
