I don't know that I would call that snowboarder hate.  Saying Shawn White's skills in the mountains lag behind Tanner's is not hating snowboarding.  Watching White in first descent did not exactly inspire me.  Saying Shawn White sucks at big mountain is no more ripping on snowboarding than saying Chris Davenport sucks at park is ripping on skiing.

Yeah shaun is a big hairy dick but i was more wondering which skier is the most know outside of the ski world.
Shane? Dumont? Hall? Olsson? Wallisch?

Agree....When you get to that level only one thing matters anymore and Its green with dead presidents on it.   These guys wouldnt be doing it if they didnt get paided.   Who cares if they get sponsors who arent ski companies, ski companies are the ones who are willing to pay six figures for a contract.   Armada may pay 40k for a sponsorship, but thats a one time thing.   These guys wont be pro skiers when there 35, so they might as well clean up now while the money is there.

if they wouldnt have became pros, they would have had to get real jobs.   Most of those guys got signed pretty young.   People like dumont, hall, wells, TJ (not 100% on) and even white all started there careers when they were like 15 or 16.   Like Wallisch is the only one who was over 20 when he became pro.   Most people have to grow up, go to college and find a way to support them selves.

skiing doesnt really have anyone who domitates every comp. every skier is pushing it so hard and are coming up with there own new tricks so its always changing. i find the snowboarding boring cause he wins every comp every year

I agree, I felt bad for the other boarders at the olympics because the announcers were always reminding them there runs wouldnt be good enough.    Lago won bronze and all we heard about was white gold.   Hes good but I dont like knowing the winner before hand.
