vague title, yes.  you are probably wondering what this thread is about...well, I have just wrapped up a thirteen track mash up album! it has taken me a solid six months.  anyways, i thought it would be quite appropriate to post it on NS so here you guys (and ladies) go!

P.S. i plan on making cds with the whole album cover, cd design ect. the plan was to sell them locally yet if any one wants to buy one, feel free to message me and we can work something out

get some real talent. learn to play a real instrument and for fuck sakes get a life. your mashups are of poor quality, just like every other one that was every made. i hope this made you realise that stealing other peoples, mashing them together into some piece of shit song is wrong and talentless. go fistfuck your hat, and rot in hell, you theiving bastard.  /rant

oh my i am sorry,

if it helps i play guitar, bass and i hand drum!

i also mess around with music production of all sorts, from some dubstep to that hard dirty electro house stuff.

then start a band and make your own music. in six months you and two or three other guys could have been practiced enough to play some live shows and have fun. instead of wating 6 months in from of a computer, stealing artist's work and trying to call it your own. people like you are whats wrong with the music industry today

Shut up about mashups already. Every goddam thread you have to say how much you hate them. He's not profiting off it so what's the problem? Ever person who puts an edit online with a song that they don't have the rights to use is stealing it too I guess. And making mashups is not talentless. Have you ever tried to make a good mashup? He also just owned you when he said he played real instruments. Stop being a prick.

Maybe he likes making mashups? It's the same way with electronic music. Why is it wrong to take something old and turn it into something new? I think mashups are a great way of transforming a song into something new.

i am not claiming it as my own, i am simple saying "hey i mixed these 2 or 3 songs together and added drums and shit, check it out!" then i post it, its just putting a twist on music, its the same concept as remixing. 


Hey, I guess mash ups aren't for everyone.  i respect that you don't like them, everyone is free to choose what they throw on the Ipod (or any other Mp3 player)

Not all mashups are good, but many are. Do you really want me to pick an original song that sounds like complete shit to counter you? Your logic is flawed. And the talentless aspect. Would you consider someone who is amazing at photoshop and photoshops a photo and does an amazing job to be talentless? They're just stealing someone else's work right?
