Why do pros keep passing away?

It seemed like before Doug Combs died pros never died.  This just seems messed up.  Sorry im kinda messed up with the whole C.R. thing.

Skiing is a dangerous sport. Pros are the ones constantly pushing it to new levels. Happens in all extreme sports and its a part of everyday life. RIP

as said above there always pushing the sport and goin hard. Its like biggie he was to real for this earth so he was moved on, same with cr and others who have passed recently. Rip

Its so sad to hear about people in this sport passing. Even if you havent met them, we all share this common bond and its sure a strong one.  Were a tight knit community and its both a curse and a blessing.  We just need to remember that this is a dangerous sport, but that will never stop ANY of us from pushing the limits of ourselves as well as our sport.

dude pros keep on dying so retards like you can have someone to act like. CR pushed the sport like no other and died doing the same.

CR's is a testament to the sport and his legacy will never be forgotten

i think it probably had something to do with his previous injury once you hit your head that hard once you cant really do it again or even half as hard. real scary tho

CR's story is so sad, when I watched his segment in 7 Sunny Days I felt blessed to be able to ski and live a healthy life. He was such a down to earth guy and a great skier. Story's like this make me question who's up above, life is full of chaotic randomness and this is an example. The smallest of errors contributed to the deaths of CR and Shane when they lived their lifes on the edge everyday. Two Tahoe and Squaw Valley locals passing in two years is a tragedy on its own. Jah Bless, my thoughts are with CR and his family and friends. Life is too short.

The run that he was on is absolutly insane!

But you have to be happy that the way he went was doing something that he loved and had inspired many to do and have fun with just like McConkey.

word. but sometimes that makes it all the more sad. i dont ever wanna die in the mountains, i don't ever want anyone to die in the mountains. i wanna live so I can come back tomorrow. the mountains shouldn't be a place for death, but naturally they are.

Hate to say it, but with the progression rate of freeskiing it's only going to get worse. vibes to CR's family, he and all the others, will be missed greatly.
