So I look inside my hotdoggers and notice a 4. Every website including FT says their 6 flex. I also look in my friends booters which are supposed to be a 4 flex and they have 2's. Whats the deal?? I Called some shops and they have the same problem.
This is the confusing thing about the ski industry: there's MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price), what you see in magazines, and MAP (Minimum Advertised Price), what you see in shops/online. MAP is always cheaper than MSRP and is what companies say shops cannot advertise below at. BUT a shop can sell a product for whatever price they want in the store, they just can't advertise it. It's why places like Backcountry.com (up until February usually) are the same price online as your local shop. However, a lot of resort shops sell at full MSRP because they are open for a shorter time period.
What FT goofed on was they were printing the MAP ($399.99) in the MSRP area ($450), so FT didn't screw you over it's just the shop you bought them from charged you full pop.
