Crossing US-Can boarder with minor

Hey, I am going on a trip with my girlfriend to Jay Peak. She is a minor and im over 18, do I really need a conscent form to get through the boarder (including passport)? Or is it just a good idea?

i would suggest it, but i have never even thought of this before or would think it would be a problem

I wouldnt have thought of it either, my gf's parents sent me the paperwork...I dunno if I should convince her if not worth it or if I should really do it.

if her parents sent you the paperwork then i say its a go and justbring it it. dont like intantly hand it to the border officer, but if her asks give it to him/her

I went to Canada last week with my parents and a 16 year old friend. We weren't asked for the form that time, but we had it ready just in case because we've been asked for it before.

If you have the form already just bring it, if not to just not have her parents on your back.
