Ive been seeing a bunch of music thread out there so hop this helps

...as long as you understand that soundtrack is "good" only because it goes great with the movie.  loved the movie, but the songs in themselves aren't that great.

one i remember similar to this was The Girl Next Door (no homo...?) really cheesy songs like Baba O'Reilly and Under Pressure but they went well with the movie.

Donnie Darko has a pretty quality soundtrack IMO.  Echo and the Bunnymen for the opener is one of the coolest opening songs i can remember for a movie, and fit perfectly.

the girl next door is in no way a homo movie, that also had a great soundtrack and fit very well with the mood of the movie

Remember the Titans has a SICK original soundtrack and still has some awesome time period songs show up.

Rocknrolla while the movie isn't so great has some pretty good music that goes with the movie.

Black Hawk Down has a really good original soundtrack.

Apocalypse Now uses a good selection of songs from the time period mixed in with original score.
