My buddies and I are headed to the tahoe area March 11th. I was wonderin if anyone could hook it up with soem Northstar day tickets for free or next to free in exchange for some Free Park City tickets? We will prolly ride the 12th and 13th. Also, we can ride Boreal for free, but is it worth it? assuming the weather will be nice where shoud we go to ride the most legit jump line, with jibs mixed in?
where are you coming from? shell gas stations in california will give you a coupon for a buy 1 get 1 free lift ticket at northstar if you get 10 or more gallons of gas. i mean, you could even go to a shell and see if people will give you their coupon, or if you could buy them for like $5...
Sick, thanks dude, but I work at Park City, and have tons of product testing full day tickets...if anyone feels like riding pc this season at any time, let me know...Is boreal worth a day or what?
Boreal is definitely worth a day, their park is really fun. But if you're here and its dumping, I'd go someplace else. You could even go to Boreal at night, they are open until 9 pm and a ticket from 3-9 is only $25.
Im going to Northstar at the end of march, im from michigan and this is my first time skiing out west. what skis should i bring? I have Race tigers, Fujatives, and Pipe Cleaners.
Im really stoked about skiing at The Stash
The stash is a big disappointment. It's sick to ride through, and used to be sick to box the little cabin they had. All of the features are clearly geared to snowboarders, and unless there's tons of fresh snow, a lot of the features are unhittable. Still it's unique, and there can be some good shit to hit. But honestly if it's fresh snow we just go to the backside or lookout
northstar's big jumps are really sick but i really dont dig any of there rails except a few. alot of their lips are just flat for the snowboarders
go to boreal for a day and give it a chance, you wont have to deal with retarded lift lines... and if you head over to dutchie its actually really fun.
The Stash on a deep pow day is amazing. It's like a terrain park that's socially acceptable to ride in on a pow day. Going from the top of Lookout back to the main lodge, it's a good run to go through.
Im here for a week too, got this condo to myself just for tonight but unfortunately cant find any chronic in the little village and I dont have a car, if anybody can help PM me
After riding northstar for a couple days, and one of the best pow days of my life at Alpine, i've decided tahoe is the place to be...Also, Northstar's park crew busted there collective asses every day I was there, the mountain is so well kept, not just take offs and landings, but aesthetics... every rail raked, every stair shoveled, sick job park crew...
