GoPro problems please help!

 hey has anyone experenced problems with the gopro helmet cams? it says to use lithium batteries for colder weather so i did and i usually keep it warm in my jacket and it still is touchy and shuts off after 10 seconds. anyone else in the same boat? or have any tips? thanks alot guys!

The standard def ones really don't like the cold. It is a matter of keeping it warm, using a decent memory card and making sure the batteries are fully charged. I keep a pocket full of rechargable Ni-Hi baateries and replace them quite a bit, then keep the camera in my jacket on the chairlift. I usually have a handwarmer with me too... just in case. Might try taping one on the the back sometime to see if that helps.

You should check out the Go Pro cult, there is tons of info in there and it has helped me a lot in the past.

I had the same problem, I changed my card becuase I guess it was showing a false empty thing, bascially it was saying it was empty but it was actually full. And then I changed the batteries and that is what it was. It wasn't that it was cold, it was just out of battery life. They seem to last only a days worth or about 6-8 hours of it being on alone. I am starting to look at the HD's because they are obviously better and more worth the money.
