i have the 08 STL's. not a bad ski, i wish they were a little softer. i hit about 60% rails and 40% jumps but i'm working on jumps more often now. i had one problem though, on my left tip, the top sheet split form the base and edge. so i took them back and they just put new epoxy which i new they would. i doubt this will happen to you if you get them but just lettin ya know.
i have the TNKs and i hit 70% rails 30% jumps. they have lasted well for two seasons of hard skiing. now they are starting to have cracks in the edges but that will happen to any ski if you hit enough rails
Ive had both, the TNKs were pretty much hands down the worst park ski Ive ever had. The STL was a great park ski on the other hand. I would absolutley recomend the STL. The TNK was heavy, slow edge to edge, and just felt dead. The STL was lighter, much more poppy, a great groomer ski, and more durable.
