Night skiing ends march 12 at C.O.P.

From March 12th untill the end of the season (April 6th) C.O.P. will be closed for night skiing adn their hours will be from 9:00 am untill 5:00 pm. That means for students and people who enjoy night skiing and people who work that we can't night ski fo rpretty much a whole month but the hill is open. I am very disappointed in C.O.P. for doing this and they have done it last year and planning on doing it next year. I am sending them a letter of complaint and if enough people do this they might consider stopping this and leave the night skiing for the rest of the year. If you want to send them a letter their email is info@winsportcanada.ca  . I would be greatly appreciative if you guys and girls would send in letters to C.O.P. aswell. Some points are that shcool kids dont get to ride, they will lose money, kids become unhealthy, instead of riding kids will vandalise calgary, people might not buy passes next year, kids wont hang  out with kids they ride with and many other reasons.  Again I would be super thankfull if you guys talked to them and excited if they opened up for night time riding.

Wow..... I thought they stopped night skiing when they fully closed last year though?

Might have missed it, but this is whack. I am not impressed with COP right now, I was hoping to ski a whole bunch to get ready for a slopestyle, and now I have to skip school. Fortunately I'm at Carroll and can get away with that, but it sucks for everyone else who isn't that lucky.

I'll be writing a complaint for sure, I'm not impressed about this. Race clubs, freestyle clubs, lessons, people paying for lift tickets, are all going to get shut down.

It does suck, but I work there and I am telling you right now no matter how many letters you send they will not change their dates this year but Im pretty sure the date is actually March 25th. Think about it, it is in the city and there is always snow there wayyy later than anywhere else that late in the season. We have had a warm spell recently so a lot of stuff is melting earlier than usual. Also most of the money is made during the daytime from ppl who buy day tix not everyone else who has a pass and used it a million times so they want to be able to please those who pay full price with some snow not just ice.

Its COP the managment has no fucking clue about half the shit they should. Like when to make snow.
