Ok for any of you that dont know who there people are heres the link https://www.newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/523083/ ok these people picket dead soldiers funerals all the time, they constantly picket other religions and anything that goes against what they believe... Tomorrow on the 23 there going to be in Telluride fucking with everyones perfect day and will hike up the mtn and also ride the gondola while holding signs that say shit lit "God hates you" "God hates fags" "your all going to hell" "Fag USA" "Thank god for 9/11"

I am hoping that Telluride will not allow them onto the mtn and or to ride the gondola... if they do please send a few sprays and throw a few cups filled with piss for me. These fuckers picketed my Uncles best friends funeral.

So that crazy family is traveling to Telluride to protest an event put on by Judy Shepard, mother of Matthew Shepard who was beat up and left to die for being gay. Is it also gay ski week at Telluride this week?

the problem is that they make themselves impossible to ignore. how would you react if a family member was killed in overseas combat, and you showed up to the funeral to find them picketing outside. I know there's no way I would be able to ignore them. On the contrary, several of them would be going to the hospital and I would probably be going to jail.

This is true, without attention, they have nothing.

But, their message is far too obscene to be ignored. The far-right in this country talk shit about immigrants, socialists, etc, and I can let it fly, because although I find it abhorrent, they're not really hurting anyone. It's fairly mainstream racism.

What WBC do however, is to target people who are at their most vulnerable. Anyone who has been to the funeral of a loved one knows how emotional it is. If there were then fucking 'Christians' trying to add to the hurt I felt, I couldn't let it go, no way

Id say putting a few in the hospital is doing the world at least a little good. But really Im just glad they don't come anywhere around me. a ski resort is the perfect area to get away after doing something horrible to them also,  just ski by, smack them in the face with a pole, ski into the woods, and your gone, i doubt anybody would try very hard to chase you anyway.

I might get flamed for this, but whatever. 

I do not agree with basically anything their church stands for, however.  They obviously love the media exposure and attention.  They are also very hateful towards most Americans.  If you do stuff to them, that is what they thrive on, I would just ignore them.

Also, if you are jerks to them, then you are no better than they.
