Obviously, but yesterday just cemented this fact. After breaking my skis at like 1, I decided to learn to snowboard so as not to waste the rest of my all day ticket.. At this point I was having a pretty shitty day because well, I ripped the heel piece out of my ski. So I took my ski into the ticket place downstairs and very politely asked them if I could get any kind of discount on a rental or anything. Boulder's excellent customer service pulled through and I got a ten dollar rental which pretty much made my day, being a poor ass college student.
So before I gave snowboarding a shot my two friends who board decided that because I was having a shitty day they'd smoke me up. This was the first time I'd smoked in about a month as I've been real busy at school and I'm still trying to figure out what the new girlfriend thinks of it. But anyway this was my first time smoking after a pretty long break and they had some pretty ridiculous bud so I was completely baked. Here's where more props for Boulder comes in, stoned out of my mind (like so stoned I put my one of the boots on the wrong foot) they're rental shop was the easiest experience of my life. There were people telling me where to go the whole time, the paperwork was easy and they pretty much give you a snowboard and boots and say see you later, didn't have to let them hold onto my license or anything.
So moral of the story +K to Boulder for doing a great job at everything.
Also to whoever was giving me shit for sucking at snowboarding in all my real nice outerwear (bright ass oakley etc) on bunny's elbow. Fuck you guys. There's always more to the story. Why can't everyone just be nice to everyone? It makes it so much harder to learn when people are being douchebags to you. We're all out there ultimately for the same reason so why can't you just do your own thing and not hate? /rant
