When the lift stops at least 3 times every ride.
When you fall on a 1 foot box and it hurts a lot due to the ice.
When if its not ice its slush
When you can smell the fries from the top
When the slope closes at 3 am.

When you can see the bottom of the lift from the top.
When you ski on ice more than real snow.
When 3 inches of snow is amazing.
You don't hit the jumps because the landing is pure ice.

I dunno, the mid-atlantic is having an awesome season this year, besides the fact that our hill has like 700 vertical feet. 7 springs has a like a 62 inch base right now, we're getting tons of snow lately, and this weekend I watched Kristi and all the other pro girls throw down all over the mountain, it was sexy.

when you make excuses like this despite you knowing the east coast really does suck.

if you're in the Catskills, half the cars and SUVs in the lot have Jersey plates, and you can tell the other half are from Long Island, and you hate them all. But it's a lot of fun making money off them at the same time.

When you work at a bar there, and once a month some hot blonde Jersey mom gets wasted and topless, then starts dancing on the bar...

The week between Dec 26th and Jan 2nd is known as Hell Week.
