Pulling off griffons grabbing mute?

is this happening to anyone else?

i'm 6'3'' 180 lbs. happened a month ago, so i fixed the forward pressure and it was fine. then it happened again about a week ago, while the forward pressure was right where it should be. i realized i could pull them off just standing there. my din was on 9... so i moved it up to 10 (in the toepiece) and it seemed to be fine for a few days. then yesterday it just happened again...

could this be happening cause of snow on my boot when i click in? or boots that are worn down (my boots are exactly a year old..) its kinda random too...like they were staying on fine with mute rodeos (which i really tweak them), but then later that day they came out on a little 3..

is this happening to anyone else?

so i pull harder on my skis than somebody who's like 120 lbs? its not like i have 60 lbs more muscle in my right arm. idk.. like i could see if i was prereleasing landing or something how that would make sense because of my size, but i was thinking grabbing might be something else..or at least hoping it would be something else so i don't have to drop more money on bindings.

but yeah thanks for the replies so far.. that probably is the problem i guess.

if they come off so sporadically then i don't think it's human error, they're just weak bindings

at your size I dont see why your on a 12 din binding. you could easily ride a higher din model like sth16, fks 155/185. people seem to think "oh I dont need that strong a bindings", but if your din is set at 10, you can set the bindings i just listed at 10(its just a little stronger), and they are much more durable and will last longer.

exactly...and besides this i've had absolutely no problems with them, pre releasing or durability wise. my rossis last year exploded once and tore out 2 or 3 times (although that may have been the k2s they were mounted on).

but yeah i found some new mojo 15s for $140, last years.

will those be good?

get these. im a big boy 6' 3" almost 200 lbs and ride mojo 15s. never had a problem with them. light, durable, and keep me clicked in. i have never had any prerelease issues. they will make you happy

ive had this happen to me on rossi 12's, look 12's (same binding), and sth 12's. i weigh 150. im pretty sure it happens to everyone if you tweak hard enough. but you might want to increase your toe din even more if your pulling really hard. or try and be gentler?

the problem is you bought markers. i've seen sooo many of these fail. for some reason everyone loves em but go get some looks. i've never had a problem with mine.

same thing has happened to me with jesters... 7 high mute tweaked really hard and next thing i know im landing with my ski in my hand... might just be the bindings

i'm not even comfortable doing mutes on my griffons. i always felt that they might fall off. but besides that they're sick bindings.
