Pontoons with certain brakes?

im thinkin about gettin this years pontoons

the width is 130 and the salomon sth bindings i might

be getting have 130mm brakes, if they're the exact same does

that mean they fit??? or...?

You can get the 130s, then bend the break arms out a bit I guess. On my Anthems, the brakes are the same width as the ski, and they do catch on the side of the ski. But I just bend the break arm out, and it's okay. But I don't know too much about brake width for Salomon bindings.

Because of the sidecut of the Pontoon, the brake will be mounted in a position where the width of the ski is

yeah cause the width of the pontoons is 130mm so if i got 130mm brakes is it okay to just bend out the arms? and how should i do it

i went to that link and it said the brakes were only 120mm even though on the title of the article it says they're 140mm? i dont know it says two different specs on the website. weird huh?

your shop will be able to do it for you, since if your asking these questions, it'll probably be better to let an expert do it

thats what im thinkin im gonna do but do you think if i get like 115-120mm brakes they can bend them out to fit over a 130mm width like on the pontoon? just curious if they can bend that far

thats basically a 0.75cm bend on both sides, which is nothing. people have bent stock 80mm breaks to 140mm so 120 to 130 will be easy
