Replying to Have your parents ever done this to you?

ok, so i went skiing yesterday, and i was hitting the first Xl jump which was 45 feet. the first time i hit i cased a bit but it didnt hurt. then i go to hit it again and i ditched too much speed and i landed 5 feet from the landing. and i bruised my heel pretty bad (pretty bad as in i have to hop every where on one foot) when i got home my parents were watching tv  and they asked what happend so i told them. and they banned me from skiing in the park. and they said since we had a 1 hour talk about how the park isnt safe and how u can get hurt easily. now i have to ski with them from now on or not ski at all. have your parents ever done this to you? and which one would you chose? not skiing or ski with ur parents
