Shin splints problem

How can i cure or prevent  shin splints because i get them everytime i hit park. I know that i shouldnt land backseat but i cant help it sometimes.

I had bad shin splints when I ran long distance in track, and to decrease the pain, you can ice them. Strengthening your shin muscles will help prevent them in the first place as well.

uh...

anyways, theres nothing you can do but not skiing and icing. thats all. sucks you can't help landing properly, but youre going to keep getting it until you do.

i always get -k when i say this but it helps rebuild the muscle to bone attachments, for example, your shins... do it, it can't hurt.

shin bang and shin splints are two different (but pretty similar) things.  unless OP meant to say shin bang you have to treat them differently.

if its shinbang from landing backseat then you should get your boots properly fitted if they havent been or get yourself a booster strap.

Theres not much you can do to prevent shin splints - only treat them after (ice / rest - as everyone else said)  Also, if you are overweight  then you'll be more prone to shin splints.  I don't know if that applies to you though.

i used to get shinbang all the time and i would ice them and take ibprofan alot...and then i got some spk's never had em since

both shinbang, and shinsplints can be caused by badly fitting boots. I've had minor/major shinsplints all season because my boots don't fit me well anymore.

Walking backwards on your heels will help, hanging your heels off a curb (standing on your toes) and dipping down will help, and putting your toe up agaist a wall with your foot at a 45 and flexing your shin in towards your foot will help. Besides that, ice and rest are the only things you can do.

that's not shinsplints. That's badly fitting boots. Fulltilts will only help if they fit you well.
