Skiing used to be a pure sport filled with adrenaline and excitement. With all of the new technologies and equipment skiiing is no longer the same, it is too easy and not how it was meant to be. Skiing of the future is only going to get worse and the skiing of now is nothing compared to what it used to be.

word. progressing is having fun. when ever i nail a new trick, i get the best feeling in the world, or when i hit a bigger cliff, its the progression that keeps everyone hooked. its believing in urself that u can do that trick or huck that cliff. and when u do it, its the greatest feeling in the world. if u dont love skiing... this site is not for you

hey man it sounds like you dont like progression or you just cant get any better. so just go out and have fun struggling in deep powder or trying to nail high speed turns on the groomers, rails or anything switch. so go have a blast

You think skiing is not real yet you are sponsored by a SKI company? Also, if you are this pissed off at skiing why dont you just quit? ALSO, since you are pretty much arguing against newschool skiing why dont you just get the hell off of this site? No one wants you here to talk shit on a sport we love, while you hate it. You should probably tell your sponsors how you feel and see what they have to say aswell. Your a hypocrite because you are apparently sponsored by a company who makes skis that you proclaim are "no longer real" Just get the fuck out of here.

tryin to start a fight on the internet huh? ok chad. everyone is entitled to their own opinion. you like cambered skis. awesome. that guy likes rockered skis. sweet. hell that other guy doesnt even strap his heel to his ski but he's still enjoyin in. and other people just take one board and stand sides ways on it, even though everybody realizes its just not as good, but hey they love it. so how bout instead of tryin to fight people because theyre not like you just spend more time thinkin about how you can improve your skiing

the great thing about skiing is that theres always something that will challenge you and always something that will scare the crap out of you (a certain trick, a crazy line, a girl that skis better than you, etc.) but putting those fears aside and sticking that trick or that line makes it like you're skiing again for the first time...

1. Houdmaster has nothing on his profil( city, country, state, information of himself).
2. He's on NS since the thread exists.
3.I checked and I never saw Houdmaster and skithecanada online on NS at the same time.

Conclusion. Skithecanada and Houdmaster= same person? Maybe.

I hate modern skis, with railed turns, control at insane speeds, fllotatation on powder and bindings that done break knees when bailing.....skiing should hurt and be no fun at all...and of course the sport should only be availble to die hard jackass pain pro's types.

actually it looks like in the picture they are going into a hole, so it would seem odd to associate getting the fuck out with going into a hole. I mean thats just my two cents, hell i aint no rocket scientist. 300 is a fantastic movie however.
