Intervention or Barrett

I use the Barrett but my friends use the intervention..

Which is better?

I use intervention because its more realistic imo, looks sick with fall, and its bolt action witch is cool. I hate getting killed by some guy with a barret from two feet away that sprays his full clip trying to get me too, so i use the intervention.

I got everything except for the Heartbeat Sensor and Extended Mags on my Barrett and thought I wouldn't use anything else until I got the EBR. Man, I tried the Intervention today. 12-0 to start the game on Domination at Skid Row. Was SO EPIC. It is awesome.

I like both, but I do better with the Intervention.  I think that with the Barret if I miss a shot a take other shots much more quickly and just miss of the them cause I don't take the time to line it up right.  However, with the Intervention I am forced to take a bit more time to line the shot up again.

Intervention, I used the R700 in the other one and just started out using the intervention. Whenever I do use the 50 cal and miss I usually empty the clip because it's kinda funny. I had fall for both before I went prestige, now I only have red for the intervention and like 5 kills with the 50 cal.

i use the intervention but only because its fun/more of a challenge. the recoil is about ten times worse than the barrett and its bolt action, yet i get 2 hit kills (as opposed to one hit kills) just as often as with the barrett... sorta gay

i use the intervention because i am a boss

it's accuracy is better (not in the stats, just my experience), it seems like the bullets actually get where i aim more often

plus i get OHK's way more with it

and fall is sexy as fuck

the barret is better, the only thing the intervention has that the barrett doesnt is mobility.
the intervention is slower, and when your not always guaranteed a ohk taking 2 shots is hard. the sway on the intervention is the worst out of all the snipers

I also prefer the Intervention for some reason. Slower fire rate, less damage (IMO), but I seem to do much better with it. Just feels more accurate to me.

eh but i mean, you can shoot a couple shots right in a row, which you cant with the intervention very well

yeah that's why i don't use it. that stupid recoil drives me insane. plus the fact that it's semi auto makes it tempting to just keep firing instead of focusing on a solid shot with the intervention.

if you dont want recoil use the WA2000 or the M21, you can miss shots all over the place and still get kills.
i like the barett b/c i use coldblooded so if i miss a headshot or critical area i need to take a second shot and the Barret allows for that. with the intervention i find it takes way too long to re-aim if you dont get the first shot kill and the guy usually gets away

dude ive been using the intervention for a bit now and ive decided it sucks. it has lots of kick, its bolt action, long time between shots, and still i have to shoot people twice all the time to kill them. the only reason im still using it is its just fun to not use such a cheap weapon but sometimes it gets old and i miss the barrett

right now im all about the ebr with the acog. sick gun. i usuall sway the secondary for the first suckers primary that i kill. its the best way to do work

I don't know. I keep switching between the 2, but I feel the Barrett is much more stable and accurate for me. I like to mix it up though so I still use both.

i think it takes more skill to be good with the intervention. take a look at youtube and the guys who are super nasty quick scope snipers, they all use the intervention

no one like the WA2000?
i prefer it over both, stopping power pro, bling pro, and steady aim pro and thermal scope nothing wrong with it in my opinion, in fact its almost impossible to be bad with it.

I personally can't stand the WA2000 because it takes up like half the fucking screen.

And why do you have Bling Pro if you only use one attachment? Could replace that with Sleight of Hand Pro.

Funny how I use the Barrett before you then switch to the Intervention when you start using the Barrett and now you are using the Intervention.

COPY CAT!!!!

I unlocked the thermal scope on the Intervention in like 2 hours.

I think it is because it still usually takes two shots to kill someone with the WA2000 whether you have stopping power or not.

if your using a silencer the m21 ebr is the best, because it usually takes 2 hits with any gun w/ a silencer on it and the m21 has a decent fire rate and basically no recoil

WA200 silenced, slight of hand, stopping power, and steady aim. best. gun. ever. hands down. ive gotten two chopper gunners while using it and i love it so much. its a one hit kill if you aim from like the stomach up and if not there no recoil and you can just shoot again right afterwards, and also no one knows where you are since its silenced. fuck yea

i like the barret a bit more, mostly because i like the semi auto. I can enjoy using the intervention, but truthfully i just don't like how it looks. I used to love the m40a3 in cod4 though.

And actually, the barret has a massive recoil, but it always resets to the exact same location, so if you wait that extra fraction of a second, you're given another shot at the same point
