"looking good" is in the eyes of the beholder, it's an opinion. while it may not "look good" to you, it's still tough to do and still innovative (only because not a lot of people do them.) Anything that is different than what is currently popular helps to further the sport, open new possibilities for new tricks, etc. And if it doesn't look good, people will make them look good.
btw I think a one footer with your front ski on the rail and your rear ski vertical behind the rail would look sick, maybe you could grab the tail of the ski with your same side hand.
or any other one foot grind+grab would look raw, especially if you get enough height off the rail to do a decent spin and hold the grab...
