Slow ipod

Sorry if this is a repost, I'm on iNS so I cant check. Alright I got an ipod for Christmas (32 gb) and it was working fine for a while. But now it's slow as hell with videos. (YouTube, zapkins, etc). It took about 20 minutes for gang to load and 30 for the new jiberish edit. Any help or ways I can speed things up?

clean it all out and start over idk just one possibility

delete everything turn it off for a minute or 2 then turn it back on thats what i did and mine works fine
