Nothing against the atheltes, but I agree with the reasoning and to be leery of what FIS will do when they get their hands on skiing halfpipe. discuss

As it stand right now, in an event like the X-games, the judging is pretty subjective. With sports like moguls and aerials, although the progression is not there, they do have pretty solid ways of scoring runs with degree of difficulty and time, execution and all.
For this to work in the olympics, they would have to alter the judging system so much so, that it would wreck the sport anyway.
