Just wondering the reason why they feel the need to promote such symbols?
Whether they believe in this shit or not. why they feel the need to make it cool or normal to slather the all seeing eye all over their products.
are they trying to fuck with us? food for thought.

It's marketing poison, to sell an image, brand or an idea.
Salomon is the most well known ski company in the world because of its huge marketing and branding engine. They are the Nike of the ski industry and cater for the masses.
The whole buddist, hippie Karma crap comes from some bull s**t idea that 'cool' skiers are all peace loving, chilled types, who would identify with such symbols like those featured on the Shogun. It's and image thing.
The reason why we see so much of this branding crap from large companies like Salomon, is because 80% of the world's population are un-imaginative, and having a well known brand to identify with is easy for them (the safe option). Its the Starbuck's effect....s**t coffee, yet everone goes there.
Lets hope some of the remaining large companies who still make good equipment don't sell out completely to the masses.
