I skied Marquette Mountain in Michigan's upper peninsula in about 10 inches of freshies. Dropped some cliffs, and skied trees all morning. It was a blast, can't wait to get out there again.

i live in north carolina, we've got about 2 feet on the ground now and suppose to get anouther foot by thursday, i skied knee deep pow the other day... its pretty epic.  ill post a vid of it if i get a second

Not regionals. This applies the entire east side of the US. We all got some snow from that storm. Everyone can just not read or post in the thread if you think it's so shitty.

the boston globe recently did an article about how snow levels this year have compared to the average.  Jay peak was down 21 % from the average, but still around 178 inches.  Cannon mountain was the only one with a higher average, with 7 percent above normal.

Also, has anyone found good "pillow" lines in the east?  I know they're pretty uncommon, so most would rather not divulge their spots, but any resorts that have a few more options for multi-stage drops?

i had knee to mid thigh deep in the trees at wintergreen in virginia. we got to ski some trees that had never been skied since we normally don't get enough snow. i was getting occasional face shots in VA. thats pretty much once in a lifetime

Skied 5 inches today at Killington. Felt like a pow day, despite the fact that it was a mere 5 inches.

This year has sucked for powder days in the northeast.

Damn, that's actually a fair amount for the East. Even out West that's a pretty good pow day. Bummer that Jay isn't gtting lots of snow, seems like a fairly dope place to ski on a pow day. I know the stoke you guys are all feeling. When we got 11 feet in five days a few weeks back I was so stoked. Enjoy the fresh!

To the kid that said the West gets to ski powder everyday, I wish that was true.

It's been snowing all day here in CNY. I'd say we got atleast 4 inches throughout the day. Plus all the steady inches from days before, I'd say we've got about a good 8 inches on the ground.
