there was a shot of him in one of the preseason city big airs crashing on a couple of dub 10s, so for the moment it would seem the answer is no/

yeah, too bad it really looks like an aerial trick.

He does doubles in the pipe too. Whiskey flips/double lincoln or whatever you call them.

for some reason, although i havent seen the video in a while, i think its dumont. and to whoever said it looked like aerials, screw that, i thought it looked pretty dope without a grab. plus arent aerials usually backflips + spins?

too bad you're an idiot. tell me, when have you ever seen an aerialist set fowards? front flip to misty would be nothing like what any aerialist does on snow. if he grabbed it, it could def be sick. but dont just call any dub that you dont like aerials, cause thats just ignorant.

Although high level aerialist never compete front flipping jumps, front tucks, front fulls and fliffises are a important to aerial progression. Simon effectively did a front tuck to full in that Keystone edit, and though such a combination would be awkward and dangerous on an air hill, he did two aerials type tricks in one jump.

to those saying he did a front flip to misty 7, misties aren't completely inverted. his 'misty' thing was straight over the top, therefor just making it a bad front full.

^^ like i said, on snow. i understand that they do many of these tricks on water ramps, you yourself said it would be too dangerous to throw on a site, so again, if simon does one with a decent grab, it will be nothing like aerials.

simon takes a lot of crap for doin the dub front in the x games and doin so many front flips, but honestly after watchin the little keystone empire edit his frontflips are soooo perfect.  Gotta at least give him that.

ya i remember seeing him bail hard tryin dub corks at windells in some edit. I think he'll have a competitive double (out of the pipe) by next year or he'll just become a strictly superpipe skier.

today i caught a tweet by TJ sayin somethin like "@simondumont06 mid double cork 10 in the backcountry jump"....and there was a photo link but it wouldnt work so i didn't pay any attention....by the time i saw this thread i went immediately back to twitter and the tweet was gone, so i guess simon is practicing doubles

I love how at the same time, theres lolo's JOSS entry and everyones talking about no need for dub's, then peeps on here hatin on simon for not doing them...

I thinkl simons style is sick, and if he could nail a couple of new dubs for the slopestyle/ big air comps that would be sick and really give him a good chance at some more medals...

I think Simon needs to step up his game. He used to blow minds when he boosted 20 feet out of a halfpipe, now people other than simon are doing that, and he still manages to only get 5 hits. Hes just not progressing at a level others are
