Go Pro vs. Countour HD

Both of these cameras are pretty similar in size and price, so what do you guys think is a better camera and why? 

We did an interview with Countour HD at WWSRA last week, which we'll post soon, but I'd like to hear what you guys think if you've ever used them.

I've only seen footage out of the GO Pro and I thought the optics were awesome for shooting really close to the athlete.  The waterproof housing was also pretty sweet.

well im pretty sure Go pro actually makes you go pro....so id say that one.

theres a 100% chance that if you get a gopro....people will ask you if you are going pro

GoPro has a better lens, which is enough reason to choose it over the others.

+it actually makes you go pro.

I have the Contour hd and its really easy to use. i bought it becouse i really liked how you could place the cam on the side of the helmet.

dude the GOPRO for sure its so much better i wa slooking at this too and. i got some amazing shots on bluebird powder days and crumy days in the park sickest thing. plus its got a awesome fish eye lens so when you come close its so sick .

1) USE THE FUCKING SEARCH FUNCTION

2) Time and time again, the gopro has won. It's actually waterproof, takes better quality video (yes, 1080vs1080, but the gopro is clearer), wider screen...... Just get the gopro. That's what I did, and I'm extremely happy.
