so the other night I was watching the women's mogul skiing, the one where that girl from VT with the pigtails cleared house. and like 2 or 3 runs before hers, I swear to god the girl had mogul skis with square tips that said "moment" on both the top nose end, and on the nose and tail end of the bases. Did anybody else see this?

I wish they made a mens mogul ski. I probably wouldn't buy it since I don't even know where the nearest mogul course is but it would still be sweet.

word. I knew i wasn't seeing things. my brother was like "companies have to shell out money for olympians to wear their gear so theres no way a little fish like moment would do that".

Its not a female specific ski. We make a stiff version as well.
Shelly Robertson helped design the ski. For men we have Jimmy Discoe on them.
Heather McPhie and Shannon Bahrke were on the skis for the Olympics.
The US Ski Team does cost money. We work with them on developing new designs for both Moguls and Aerials. It's awesome to be able to work with the US Ski Team on developing products that we wouldn't normally make. When athletes are stoked on the product and produce medals it makes it all worth while.
Watch for our skis on Matt DePeters on the 25th during the Men's Aerials. He will have bright green bases with stripes on them.

so you have to pay for the right to sponsor them? or you just spancize the skiiers themselves like a non olympic athlete?

Well, the skiers want to be on our skis. They came to us, helped us design and develop something special for their needs.....but to be part of the US Ski Team and actually display our name there is a pool. Its a long drawn out item I wont discuss on here.
