Olympic Mogul truck driver - Who is this?

Found this pic on the NBC site of someone doing a truck driver in the Olympic moguls. Don't know who it is, but props for trying to keep moguls in the category of lame, rather than ultra lame.

Anybody know who this is?

so was he. I ski moguls. its my sport. if someone comes up to you and asks you if TJ's double cork brings freesking up to lame, instead of ultra lame, what would you say?

i understand. Call a trick lame if it is lame, but if I couldn't see the back of that guy's skis were flat, that could just as easily be off a booter in a park. Plus it's a legit trick, non-spotted backflips are difficult.

LOLOLO, OP is a dummy. moguls isn't lame it's the coolest event in the winter olympics. Yeah maybe they're tricks are mad stylie but they're hard to throw, especially when your bombing a rock hard mogul course trying to hold together perfect form. though i do agree a guy throwing a truckdriver in there makes it more awesome, but i wouldnt say "ultra lame to lame". You want to see lame go watch mens figure skating.

That was with a lincoln loop right? Lincoln loops are probably hard in the mogul course. I always seem to end up far to right of the take off when I do them but then again I am not very good at them.

That was sooo sick I think a russian guy did it too for sure in qualifying, his was more of a "flat 3" though and looked suppperr good. I gained a ton of  respect for moguls from watching the variety in this olypmpics.

60+ moguls in a bump run

winning time was wat 22.9

3 seconds of that was in the air

60 moguls in 20 seconds

in the middle they were probably only turning through and pole planting 4 bumps per second, pretty lame if u ask me.

original poster is right. moguls are pretty damn lame, but i would say that 'truck driver' grab would have to put them in the category of ultra lame for sure

I really enjoyed watching the moguls competition, even with the simple commentary in Norway. I saw a few guys going for grabs but most just focused on getting clean spins, so this lincoln truck was a nice surprise. I don't think he placed better than 6-7th though. Expecting to see dubs next olympics!

I was thinking more progression wise in the mogul sport (and maybe a bit as a joke), not too long ago off axis spins and grabs etc. weren't on the menu for mogul skiiers. Even so, I'm sure it's possible to do double flips on those jumps, even though it'll probably leave you disoriented since they are quite small! heh

The Russians are skiing super well this year. They've got Chris Turpin as an air coach, which is pretty interesting I think.
