Terrible Scoring in Olympics Freestyle Moguls

All of the competitors deserved 0s for air points. I mean no grabs and only spinning one way? Plus lots of pencil tricks. Noobs~

how can they call that sport freestyle?

i didnt see any:

- hand gestures

-tall tees

- afterbangs (intentional)

- full tilts

-stickers on their skis

- overly baggy clothes

- gold keys

- birds

- or any rails

clearly this is not a freestyle discipline, duhhh

I thought the scoring was reasonable and well done. The last guy in the orange had shitty tricks and he paid for it. The Canadian had the best tricks combined with speed and technique and he won. It was a toss up between the american and the traitor/spammer. Both of their runs were awesome, but not as fast as the canadian.
Moguls are awesome. Watching guys carry that kind of speed through the bumps should be appreciated. And the fact that some are doing D-spins, shows progression from Johhny Mosely showing the world the iron cross with a mute grab.

Very Big props to Alexandre, skiing on that level has got to be the best feeling in the world. I really want to see the whole video of the mogul finals but can;t find it on the net....

However, I dont think that backflips should score so high, they are alot easier than doing say a cork/dspin 7 which can throw you more off balance. Somebody should have thrown a new trick and they may have won just like j mo did the 3 mute grab back in the day and everyone freaked

Don't forget that Mosely was the first to throw corked spins in bump comps and made the push for all inverts to FIS. He also fought and won to be able to do the 360 mute in comp. He's a bit of an odd ball, and you may not like his style or personality, but the guy got some shit done. Did you know he won the USOPEN ski slopestyle one year in the early 2000's?
