Basically this Japanese snowboarder, Kazuhiro Kokubo, wore his suit with his tie loose, pants sagged, and his shirt untucked in, and he also has dreds and this article is completely criticizing him saying what he did was obnoxious and disrespectful to his country. Then most of the comments are even worse, saying things like Japan should send him home and he should be given all zero's for his runs. He also said that the olympics was 'just another snowboarding event' thats 'not a big deal'.
First of all, I want to say that this guy is awesome and he embodies everything people need to be. He clearly doesn't give a SHIT what other people think about him and would rather do what makes him happy. He doesn't want to wear the suit properly because its uncomfortable and stupid as hell. I think he has the completely right mentality that the olympics is just another event. This is how a true athlete feels. Theres no reason to make a big deal out of a single competition, rather every event should be seen as the same.
Pretty much I think this guys awesome cause he does what he wants and everyone else has their heads in their ass as they try to bitch about what he does.
