Abuse of the feedback system.

After being here for almost 5 years, I have seen this site progress quite a bit, always towards something better.

One of my favorite features that NS came out with has got to be the feedback system. This is coming from someone who spends most of his time in B/S/T browsing for deals and trying to hook people up. It is a very useful tool to instill some foresight when beginning a transaction with someone, but it does have its flaws.

The biggest one I can see is the ability for anybody to leave feedback regardless of having dealt with that person in any way. I will admit that I can sometimes be an asshole on here, but it's the internet. Grow the fuck up. I just don't see why some kids think that they need to leave feedback about a member just because they are butthurt over something that was typed towards them.

Example:

I have a feeler thread up for a phone of mine and I gave a ballpark price of what they were going for on Ebay. This kid then questions it so I prove him wrong. He then decides to leave this in my feedback:

"Some bitch with a ski pole stuck up his ass who thinks he owns NS.

Barely even skis according to his sig, which doesn't surprise me."

This comment was, in my opinion, completely uncalled for. He came in to my thread and tried to correct me and was wrong. Yes, I may have been harsh in telling him this, but still, it is the internet.

Now I know that there would be very few ways to actually change something about this, but I just felt the need to get this out there since I am already in a pissed off mood.
