yea for sure. my biggest problem was i would fall back. just keep thinking as you approach the box to pop full 90 degrees and keep your forward
also, more speed helps, as long as you keep your weight centered you wont fall and you be on the box for a longer time so you wont have to worry as much about balancing, and keep looking at the end of the box, it'll help keep your weight forward.
sparknotes: Keep your weight forward
i just said everthing you guys did
just took me a longer time to type it. so... ^^^^those.
this was my problem when i started boxes and rails
1. start out with a box thats a little high off the ground, but not by alot
2. you have to get over the universal fear of catching an edge and flipping forward and crashing your face off the rail
3. you never catch an edge, its a fact
4. dont think about leaning just keep doing it until it comes naturally, thats how i learned it
it took me about 10 failed attempts by falling on my ass but eventually it came naturally
anyways thats how i learned it
1. speed
2. wide stance
3. pop hard
4. weight over front foot
