Way to give us details. Is your main mountain baker or snocrappy central? Do you only leave park when it's 2 feet deep pow all over, never leave park, or are always trying to ski something soft? Are you 120lbs or 220lbs? Do you ski like a pussy or actually know how to ski? PNW could mean a lot of things.
But...One Lifes for all around everything including park, charging and jibbing pow.. Wrenegades for a more traditional all around ski but not a ton of park, Lotus 120s for about the same as Wrenegades but with more pow in mind(and a lighter ski with better rocker profile). I don't think of Bacons, JJs, Lizzies, or Hellbents as good all around skis(all those were named right?). I could use any of those anywhere(and HATE it on some of them), and so could some of people on here that recommend them, but that doesn't mean they're actually good at it just cause it's doable. I've been on everything I named here so this isn't just "I hrd thees r good frm a 14 yr ol bad skir on NS" response like a ton on this site are.
I didn't bash WA Regionals, I bashed the general NS gear talk mostly.
And Sage two up, they are fun but not as good at charging as even some other pow jib skis, like One Lifes are.
Anddd threeish posts up, if you're mostly skiing pow or soft crud and spring conditions, I recommend DPS Lotus 120s(Hybrids are $800 if you can't afford the carbons and that isn't too much), Elan Boomerangs or Lhasa Pows(haven't tried yet) if you want taper(all 3 have tip taper and a close to pin tail), or Wrenegades(designed for all around PNW aiming at pow). A skinnier choice could be 2010 Gotamas or Salomon Shoguns
this or the JJ
Haha, I started learning my mountains slack/backcountry and to ski powder on 68 or 70 wasted skis(100mm tip, 170s ish). Waste deep pow is a lot more work on those than on Lotus 138s.
I think a good one ski quiv. for Crystal should be at least 100 underfoot. If I had to only have one ski and skied crystal I'd probably have One Lifes if I wanted to ski switch for fun in areas and throw tricks off cliffs, or something like Lotus 120s if I just wanted to ski forwards.
