Prestige! or not

i have cod 4/5 and ive prestiged on both of those, but i dont think its worth it. mw2 has sooo many upgrades for all the guns and ive got most of the upgrades and a couple blue camos, i dont think i could give up all my perks and upgrades for no apparent reason, but prestige seems inevitable. whats the point?

Prestige once, for the access to a bunch more titles and whatnot, and they don't prestige again. That's what I did.

i'm halfway trough my 3rd prestige
i do it for the cool new emblems and i get bored using the same guns all the time at 70

I didn't think I was going to prestige, but I got bored at 70 so I did. Is there another level of prestige challenges after the first prestige?

I am still only a 60 right now. But I plan on not doing it. I think it is way more fun to try and complete every single challenge and upgrade. That will take plenty of time to keep me from getting bored, because it makes you keep using different guns all the time.

But it's not like you can't do those challenges after you prestige.  They are still there and the experience would go towards something.  To each his own though.

i'm on a mission to earn every single title and emblem possible, and that involves taking it all the way to prestige 10. But if that's not your thing then I would say don't do it

good luck with 1000 attack helicopter kills.

I say stay at level 70 until you get bored. I stayed at 70 for a while and then decided to do 1st prestige with the intention of staying at 70 for good. Long story short after I got to 70 again I got really bored of unlocking all the attachments and stuff and prestiged again. If you never get bored of staying at 70 then there's no reason to do it.

I'm on two, like maybe level 20 or something, I think less. I like the extra classes though. I have three sniper setups, a m4a1 and a silenced scar normally and the extra is my bomb arm/disarm cause I recently started to like sabotage. I don't even know what I'd do with the next one.

Riot shield, spas, blast shield, smoke grenade, marathon, cold blooded, commando.

Dictator seems easier than Mach 5...both seem hard though.  I still don't have Surgical.  :(

what are dictator and mach 5 (what do they do)?

im at 70 and i doubt ill prestige. maybe in a while. but right now im having fun unlocking everything, and my ak47 is almost at fall camo. oh yeah and i dont wanna give up the ak, thing's so sick

They are both challenges which result in callsigns.  Dictator you get for firing a full round of a LMG into enemy without missing and Mach 5 you get for doing the same but with a SMG.

my friend and i are convinced that one of the most difficult ones to get is the baby sucker things, there's a blue and pink one for killing people by shooting C4 and for shooting claymores.

oh and getting a sticky kill in the game winning killcam is proving to be pretty hard too

i was convinced that i was only going to prestige once and never do it again but its impossible, im level 60 or something of my third prestige. its almost addicting/it gets boring after a little while, there isnt much to do.

its pretty addicting, i was pretty comfy at level 70, but this time through i know what i like so i dont waste time pro-ing up every perk and maxing out every gun. plus im way better so its faster

yea i feel like i want to stop after my 5th prestige but im not sure yet i still have to decided. plus its a challenge to get fall camo all over again on some of the guns which makes it a little more fun. also you get an extra class with every other prestige which is pretty cool.
