my dad loves liquorice so if im stuck for things to get him i just get him lots and lots of liquorice - he has never complained!

Give him something useful and that he can use for a long time so every times he wears/uses it he is reminded of your kindness.

Get him like a cashmere sweater, or a nice watch.

Candy is something cheap that most men love. Just a few assortments of candy bars, all different kinds. And get a magazine of something he is into, maybe hunting, or sports, or whatever it might be. And make sure you get a card! My parents dont care if i get them anything or not, they just always want a card. Also, what I did this year is I bought my dad something online, but it didnt come in in time for his bday i printed the pic off line of it, and put it in his card. Few days later it was in the mail. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the help. I got him a shirt. I couldn't get him chocolate because he is on a diet and we are terrible at golf so golf balls were out of the picture. Thanks for all those ideas. everyone got 10/10
