Digital point-and-shoot camera + the cheapest fisheye lens + plastic bag with zipper + some kind of case + tape + glue. And there you have your own splash and impact proof camera. Have fun.

most likely the fisheye isn't wide enough to shoot his feet and everything he wants like it can when its vertical?

True, like he said in the first post "cheapest possible fisheye lens". This is BudgetPro - or PeCam.

good do it yourself job there, but like you said - get a gopro.

I have one and I am amazed by the quality of the thing. For the price there is really nothing better.

i too have to lean back more than i like to get my rory silva's tips to want to stay above the snow.

wondering if its my mount point or what. if i lean back the tips get above the snow and then they can take right off, but they took some finesse to keep them above.
