Bending poles

I just bent the bottom of one of my line pins at like a 45 degree angle.  its still usable but its kind of awkard and i dont like the way it looks, because i really like the poles.

i searchbarred but didnt really find what i'm looking for.  I have other poles that i could replace them with if it breaks but i don't want to.  Can anyone tell me how i can bend it back without breaking it?

I've heard to use heat and bend it slowly but if anyone has done this before or knows how to can someone give me some detailed advice on how i should fix it?  Thanks to anyone who can help

heat and slow for sure, no real technique tips to share except be really careful not to try to do it all at once
i've heard of people taking the grip off and filling the pole with sand to try and prevent kinks, but i've never tried it

would hurt to try something like this out

or try going to your local metal or custom shop, if the pole isn't "kincked" where basically the metal has folded on its self, then i think you'll have a relativly high chance of bending it back

but i have never done this, usually i just bend it back over my knee, but then again, i have never bent a pole a full 45 degrees before.

i just bent it back.  heated it up over the stove then pressed it against the top of the stove.  worked pretty well.  all the paint burned and theres a huge burned spot, and my house smells kinda bad, but its straight thanks for the help guys

good idea on heating it up, and just spray paint burn part black, problably look better, lol unless they are like Scott neon green poles
