First time skiing "pow"

First off let me just say that I can't believe I've missed out on this sensation for this long. You guys out west are pretty dang lucky. Anyways, had a snowday today in southwest Michigan and went out to my local hill and skid 9 inches of fresh snow. I know it's not even that much but it's probably the most fun I've had skiing, in fact I was only in the park for a couple laps and decided that I'd rather ski some fresh snow instead. Kind of want to move out west now.

ive only had one real pow day.. and back then a didn't even know how to ski

yeah, i'm considering just buyin some fatter skis and moving to colorado. all my cousins live there and i've heard nothing but great things. dang. college or skiing...

even if you don't you should consider a week or longer vacation out west every year.

although i plan to relocate out of michigan. michigan is pretty gimp and all

I've skied pow once at loveland, it wasn't even that much but it was pow and it was so fun.  That was years ago, hopefully it will snow when I get out there this year.
