knuckle fronts are a joke
roll up to the knuckle of the landing of a jump or a large roller if you can find one
lean back, lift your hands above your head
once your tips are like 5-10 inches from the lip of the table throw yourself foward into a frontflip as hard as possible, your head should be facing down before you even leave the snow
use your ski to literally pop up and spin foward
by the time your skis are off the ground you will be more than halfway through the rotation
you need to tuck almost the whole way
the worst that happens is you land on your back and it doesn't hurt at all - I promise
Most people land on their back the first time because they either go to slow, don't pop hard enough, or don't throw it hard enough, or all three-but it doesnt hurt to land on your back
You will realize that this trick is not scary AT ALL and it is easy
Then you will do it again and probably land really backseat or maybe on your back again, but you will get it after a few tries
You can't land on your head because you go past that part of the spin as you take off
only thing is you can get some shinbang from landing back seat but its not terrible
this trick is awesome to bust out at random times and it opens the door to other inverts. You'll see how easy it is after you do it. It is exactly like learning a 360 again.
Haha nice, i've definately tried to rotate too fast an taken on the lip with my head too.
No broken clavicle though, fortunately.
But yea def go for the backy, just commit and it's easy
