this happened for me couple of days ago!! i tried to install some stuff that my friend burned for me, but my xp crashed everytime, so i tried it with our parents older computer and it worked fine. so because im guy and guys know everything about all kinds of machines as you all know, i opened both comuters`s cases and look inside well theres some stuff.. i know how to do with pci and agp cards but everything else is like *umm i dont know* so i thought that my cd-drive is messed up. so some time went and i managed to swap both comps cd-drives.. didnt solve the problem.. so i tried to put our parents harddrive in my comp so i could have two hdd:s i did it and saw some really freaky graphics cos those both windows (xp and 98)opened at same time. i got mad and tried to make the other drive slave in bios!!! now my new computer wont start!and i took it in repair shop. they just called me and told me that they must get a new motherboard for it!!!! SHIT

yup.....computers are worthless peices of junk!!! dispite the fact that I am on one as we speak. they always act up when somthing important is due for school.

A lot of programs aren't designed for XP yet, so they screw things up. When I first got XP, my computer crashed. It was so f*cked up.

i hope u were grounded cuz that esd shit fucks things up easily. why the fuck did u think puting another hd would fix the problem? some cds got write protection on them and they dont work, i think u can get some software on the internet to help u get passed it though.

corked180: cos it worked fine with the other comp, and i put those files in its hd!! but cos those files are musickmaking problems and my parents comp hasn`t any soundcard i had to put that hd in my xp comp!!!!
And i didn`t get grounded!! I got worse punishment, I had to pay the repairs!!!
