Binding on right ski popping out

I have the Marker Griffon 12 on my K2 Extremes and this last Friday I went skiing and 3 times in the night my boot on my right ski just popped out of the binding. The first time I was just going up a slight incline and had to "walk" with my skis and it just popped out. The 2nd time I was just getting off the lift and I was getting ready to go down the run when it just popped out. The 3rd time I just got on the lift and about 10 feet after I got on it popped off. For the next hour or so of skiing was perfectly fine. Do you guys know what can cause this?

They both at 7 the left one has never popped out early though and falling on jumps neither pop off too easily

is your snowpant like mixed up in there? could be it if its not popping off every time

Is your forward pressure set correctly? To check, put your boot in the binding and try and wiggle it around, if it wiggles move the heel piece forward a few clicks (this can be done with a phillips head screwdriver by turning the "screw" on the back of the heel piece). If it's not the forward pressure, get the bindings tested at your shop and they'll fix it.

when your ski fell off did you just carelessly jam it back in?  it might not have been in straight, i used to do that when i got mad

either that or maybe snow was packed in the wrong place in your binding

i have the same exact setup as you
this happens but its allways because my pants are caught in the binding or theres snow under your boot

My snowpants were not caught in it but it may have been the snow stuck in there because when i looked at it there was quite a bit of snow in there

Ok so I just tried testing the forward pressure by putting the put in and wiggling it, its not moving anywhere here so maybe it was just some snow in it? But after I go skiing tomorrow ill bring it in to my shop just to be sure

yea and plus marker brakes suck so watch out for those braking allot
i just snapped mine stomping a 5 so yea just wach out for that too

your right boot is a little bit different from your left

it happened when you're walking in the lodge, to the lift, in the parking lot, etc

your little clampy things (lol) are a tad off, and one's worn down more than the other

to check your forward pressure on the griffions, pop your boot in and you wil see the screw that you use to slide the heel piece, it is set correctly when it is flush, if its sticking out your heel piec is to far away and if its sticking in its too close.

good luck, and adjust the heel with the boot IN the binding,

Same problem with my Griffons.  I just have to tighten my forward presure like every hour.

Griffons/jesters are some of the easiest boots to adjust forward presure on. DO IT


Also.... do you always put the same ski on the same foot or is it just your "right ski" thats coming off, regardless of which ski you are using (having the boot be the culprit obvs)
