Skiing Alone vs. Crew

Hey,

I was just wondering whether you ski better in a crew, or better on your own.

Personally i love to ski alone, I feel i can progress better, and theres none of this "you hit it, no YOU hit it" moments.

I like to ski with one other person, that's the max. I hate being in big groups of people because when you're hitting features and one of them bails they always seem to take forever to get clear..then I lose my syke for the trick.

alone & with my buds, which is usually under 3 people and 3 max to the crew, cause i dont wait in line, i will ride the chair lift by myself if i feel my gf is taking to god damn long to come down the hill and get on, ill just leave her....... id rather have friends then homies

to me skiing is all about havin fun and i have the most fun when i ski with my friends (the crew). one of my favorite things to do is hit booters at the same time as one of my friends. plus if my friends are steppin there game up it makes me want to step mine up too. its like a win win with a crew for me.

yah i feel the same way. when i ski with guys who are better then me i progress much more then if im alone, or with guys who don't push me as much

i usally end up skiing alone just cause i have hardly any friends that ski. i think it would be more fun to ski witha crew though

the park is fun with a few friends but not too many. and when I'm skiing pow I like skiing alone so I don't gave to fight over any sick lines. my dad always says "there are no friends on powder days"

Crew for sure. its so much more fun when you got people around you having as much fun as you are. Its all about making memories with your friends. And it pushes you so much more to learn something new when you see your buddy stomp something rad.

park is fun solo sometimes just lapping it at your own pace. everywhere else i usually wanna ski with at least one other person should something happen-lost touring or getting all cliffed out somewhere. definetly on the safer side.

I love riding alone with just my music or with a few good friends.. Big groups are to many people to deal with who want to do different things.

I like to shred with one or two other people if they want to hit the same stuff as me. But I don't know many people who want to hit up the same weird features I do so I often end up just shredding alone when I'm not in the park. I need to find a crew to travel with though, most of my mates skate but don't ski/board.

I always go up there bymyself, its nice to get in your own zone.

But I like skiing with a crew better. More progression, they can help you out ect.

Skiing alone can be tight when your blazing and have good music. But nothing touches the feeling you get when you have 2 or more people in front of you and behind you all killing the same line in your own ways all the way down the hill with out a stop, and having people stop to watch.

 Riding with people is more fun for me, usually just because it is just fun and nothing really happens. They push you to progress and make you try new things. Riding park just a small group is good but once out of the park i will ride with anyone except them asians

A ski day is best spent with friends, that way you can laugh and cry and celebrate with beers together at the end. But, I've had some of my best park days and progression moments when I can take quick laps through solo. I find that I practice for comps and progress better when I am riding park solo and working on stuff. Once I get things dialed I'll bust em out for the days with large crews of friends.

Skiing with friends helps me relax and let go of any peer pressure I might be feeling which happens often. Lets me be my relaxed goofy self. Those times are often one of the more memorable experiences I've had skiing. And even if my friends can't come out, I always have my brother to ski with.

when i'm with a crew i feel i need to bring my a-game, and that mostly consists of shit i know i can land no prob..

i like to do half and half, when i ski alone i try to learn new tricks, or perfect ones that might still be a lil sketchy, then i like to ski with a  crew to see what they think of the tricks ive learned and learn tricks from them

Pow skiing = alone, i dont want anyone holding me back with an "I'm cold, I'm Hungry, or I have to shit."

Park skiing = Crew, having people to see what you do is almost as good as Pics. Cuz pics or it didnt happen

yes for sure. this is what i would say.  when skiing alone u can just session a feature and work on gettin things down, but its hard to push yourself without people there.  friends will always push you to go a little out of your comfort zone, which will help u go bigger and try new things. alteast this is wut i find
