Skiing Alone vs. Crew

Hey,

I was just wondering whether you ski better in a crew, or better on your own.

Personally i love to ski alone, I feel i can progress better, and theres none of this "you hit it, no YOU hit it" moments.

depends. i like to get competitive. but alone is good if your in a mood of trying things.

i personally don't feel driven to try new tricks without a crew. its hard for me to progress on my own terms

I like skiing with people much more than alone, i like having people around to laugh and share the day with. Skiing alone isn't exactly my favorite but it can still be fun.

I ski alone most of the time cause my friends dont like to ski park but I still have a funtime everytime

I always ski better with a crew. You have a group of people to push you and critique what you can improve on. Solo riding is a nice break but I've always done better with a crew

I really enjoy skiing alone however if its with the right people (small) groups can be real fun and push your skiing

I love skiing with people and what not but I guess Im just super impatient so I find I dont mind going off on my own for a bit as long as I have music to listen to while riding. Nobody ever wants to hike either so I tend to ski on my own abit I guess.

I think it usually depends on the mood, and whether or not if anybody from my "crew" is actually willing to ski with me that day. Sometimes I'm just in the mood to get focused, and just listen to my music to pump me up. When I'm with friends, I really can't listen to music because then I can't talk to them or anything. Usually skiing with friends is more fun though I find, because when I'm with them, they push me to do things just a litlte bit out of my comfort zone and really make me improve.

I like skiing alone because i can go whereever i want, and i can just pump some tunes and charge without having to worry about or wait for anyone.  I equally enjoy skiing with friends because part of the fun is definitely sharing adventures and experiences with good friends.

I always ski better and push myself more when I'm with a crew, but I do sometimes like to ski alone and just chill listening to music taking hot laps and working on cleaning up my tricks.

I feel that when I'm skiing alone, I ski groomers better because I don't fool around as much, but I can not progress in the park alone. When I'm with a crew, I can see what tricks their pulling and we can push ourselves.

I feel like when you are with a crew you push yourself more and feed off each others enthusiasm. Its like having a workout partner. Especially if said person is better than you, it will push you much harder than you normally would on your own, or at least this is my experience.

But I also love to ride/.ski by myself. I feel a lot more relaxed and just get lost in the fresh air and the snow.

yeah same way,, but i usually try harder things or im more motivated to do stuff when someone is there just to like one up them. im a very competitive person when it comes to stuff like that.

Crew, unless, everybody is either being stupid, is putting me or my riding down and/or stuck in a rut doing the exact same runs every single time and not having any room to progress if any of those circumstances occur i would be apt to leave the group and ride solo until i found another group that would be more fun and easier to progress with

Try to Ski with kids that are better then you and push you to do more, I've learned that it's a lot easier if have kids throwing switch corks then buddys that stomp a 360 every run. no hate. You just improve as a skier when your pushed by better kids.

crew without a doubt, not only such a more fun vibe but i push myself a lot more. I try to ski with people who are better with me and put me ontop of scary lines i wouldn't be as comfortable on without them or trying new things that i wouldn't try without someone pushing me on. I almost never ski alone just not as much fun for me

If they can keep up on a powder day.. a crew.  When I'm working during the week I usually ski alone and I don't mind it, because I will usually try new things... that way I can throw it clean with my crew later and have them be stoked.  On the weekends i'm always skiing with a crew and I love it.

Big crew for park (basically knowing most of the people there), way more fun with more stoke. Powder day one or two more people, enough that if you get into trouble they can help you out but not too many to have to be waiting. solo can be fun, but gets boring fast

I like to ski with a group most the time. but i love having days of bombing around not worrying about other people etc. just crank the tunes.

Depends what on my mood. I love cruising park laps alone just blasting my headphones. But on the other hand I also love riding with friends and feeding off each other so to speak.

i like skiing alone to get lots of laps in but i learn new tricks when i ski with other people. it cant be too many other people though or else it takes forever for everyone to drop

Lone wolf has led to some good times, but skiing with a crew i progress way more in the park and get pushed/driven by my companions. plus highspeed trains around the hill are dope.
