Transparent Screen

Im starting a little blog of some transparent screen pictures i have taken. i only have a few basic ones but tell me what you think. im in the process of taking a bunch more.

those are really impressive, good work! might have to tweak the white balance on the pics but they looked good regardless. and it wouldn't hurt you to rep NS while doing it, throw a couple NS stickies on there!

thanx. yeah the first 2 were taken inside with no flash so the image was really starved for light. i wanna do a few really nice ones outside but i need ideas. i have a couple good ones involving people but i need more

Haha, so sick. I've seen this idea before but I love it. Definitely work a bit on color balance, but otherwise pretty sweet.

There might be a better way to do it if you just take two pictures one without the laptop and one with just a plain greenscreen on the laptop and you could just erase the green and replace it with the picture. Might make you able to do it with sports. I don't know, just saying my thoughts

ya it would be way easy to with photoshop since the screen is square but it sorta loses the realistic quality. i will try it tho and see how it turns out

take a picture of something, and matching it up, sounds simple, but there is a little more that goes into it, atleast thats what i would think you would need to to do.

Simple as it is, still really sick!

So two pictures from the exact same angle of the same scene (presumably with a tripod) and then photoshopping them together?

no photoshop. i would tell you but i know you can figure it out on your own and besides, wheres the fun in just telling people. its perty simple tho

It doesn't make it easy, It makes it possible to do so much more and also makes it able for you to do stuff that isn't possible with just a camera

i just feel like its taking the magic, and the skill out of photography though. like its not fair that thats considered. its one thing to correct exposure a bit and stuff like that, its entirely another to totally change a "photo" using the computer.

take a pic of a guy doing something a your local skatepark or something and have him completely in the screen so that you wouldn't need to shop it
