I know that a lot of this stuff has been posted, but here are some more details of what to expect from K2 and Armada next year.

 I know that Armada tried to keep a lot of the info on lock down, but there is some great info on here about the 2011 Armada Halo as well as the 2011 JJ...also the Jumbo JJ

definitely like the idea of the jumbo jj

i'm almost 6'4" and my 185s feel and look short sometimes. it's so light they could def make a larger size.

i dont like the idea of mellowing out the sidecut tho. it carves really nice the way it is, itll have such a long turning radius if they make it longer and with less side-cut. guess well find out right?

fucking stoked on the wider ar6 aka the ar7
i almost switched up on armada this year since i wanted a slightly wider ski, stoked that next year i wont have to consider switching up! ar7 and the tall jacket look so dope!

Yeah eh, a Jumbo JJ would be sick. I tried my friends and they were excellent everywhere but could have some more float in the pow for a big guy like me, im 6'5" and nearly 200, my friend floats super good but i sink in a fair bit more. Otherwise im gonna probly get some JJ's

it's only 1 to 2mm wider throughout... it's not that big of a change.

171cm AR6 = 116-84-106
171cm AR7 = 118-85-108

The biggest difference will be in the cap/sidewall hybrid construction- lowered swing weight but still super stable.

Only if they keep the side cut similar... I really like how turny they are, yet can SLAY pow.

yeahh! finally Armada makes another step up.  I hope the Jumbo JJ adds some to the waste as the "less sidecut" part and keeps the wider parts of the tips that width.  Stiffer and longer with less sidecut will make it such a great one ski quiver for people who ski park, charge in pow and jib in pow..  And the AR7 looks hopeful.

i like the idea of a larger jj.  i mounted my 185's -4 and sometimes i feel they are too short.

this years arg has the best graphic ive seen in a long time. as an owner of the 08 arg's i can honestly say im so stoked they arent changing the specs of the ski. no, it doesnt handle groomers like the jj, but when it flat out comes to powder skiing, it's the best in the world.

armada's got some tricks up their sleeve, not sure if they're for this or next season quite yet, but they're going to have one of the most well rounded freeride lineups of any company out there. new outerwear should be cheaper as well.

Tanner--much respect to you. I'm 6'3"; 200 lbs. I ride a 184 twin tip Rossi scratch BC from a few years ago. I really want to get a rockered ski, like the JJ--so my question is--should I add a few centimeters to a rockered ski?

The AK JJ isn't new, it's what T-Hall has been using when he rides with Seth up in Haines.  They finally decided to make it a large scale product now is all.  Should be sick for those bigger riders that have been looking for something like that.

Thank god for ski companies finally realizing that not everyone is under 6 ft.

The new 4frnt Renegade is coming in a 196
The Bibby is coming in a 195 or something
and of course the ak JJ in a 195

Everyone says "go at least 10cm longer with rockered skis", but if you normally ski a 190 (I ski a 198 for everday ripping), there was such a limited selection of skis that were 190+ available in twin tips.

Thank god for 2011.

Hell yeah. I hear you.

6'3 and 200 here, pretty much no park skis to suit us still. Volkl Walls come in a 185 i think, but that's still a bit short.

It's a good thing I like fat skis.

Will the fatter, stiffer 195 AK JJs lose their playfulness I wonder?

Probably lose a little bit of the playfulness, but the it'll probably be made up for with added stability in all conditions. I'm not sure, but I think it's getting 5 mm fatter ALL AROUND, rather than just at the waist, which I think would have been better. I find in some situations they get a little squirrelly, and a longer radius that wants to turn less would probably solve this.

I am under 6' and I still prefer the 195 Super S7 over the 188 S7.

Have you gotten to try the 188 Super S7? Just curious cause I got to try out the 178 S7 and the 195 Super S7 at a demo recently. I thought the 188 Super S7 would be perfect, best of both.
