I have monday off from my college (about an hour north of NYC) this weekend and my buds and I are looking to head up North for some better skiing...whats the word on what mountain has the best conditions?  I'm really looking to do some off trail stuff so basically wheres the snow at right now?  thanks +K for word on the street

if u want snow, head south or stay where u are, the further north u go this winter the less snow u got. if i were u id head to whiteface or something. im at waterville and we got nothing and its 40 degrees out right now, that means cannon, loon, wv, gunstock and tenny all got a simmilar condition.

Smuggler's Notch and Jay Peak have super good snow right now, more than any other resorts in NE.  I was skiing the trees off of Sterling at Smugg's on Sunday where it was boot/knee deep.

cool sounds good, i guess we'll just have to wait and see where this storm hits.  whiteface is sounding promising though, i'll keep stowe in mind for sure...pray for big snow children

I wanna know if anyone over here is getting part of this storm. I need to ski out here (VT/NH/MA) while i'm out.
