Mid-Atlantic Feb. Blizzard(SNEAU OMG!)

So the Mid-Atlantic region got blasted with snow this weekend and I have never felt more lucky to be a skier in the MAIC region.
Timeline begins at 11pm when I get to York, after having driven from West Chester:

As you can see there is about 4-5 inches on the ground by 1130pm.

I knew I was going to have a ton of snow to shovel, so I woke up at 530AM and prepared for the worst and opened my garage to find it:

so from 530-7AM I shoveled my grandparents entire driveway, alone, with a small backcountry skiing shovel(they only had a 30 year old tin shovel that added 30lbs to every load, F*that!)

^^I then proceeded to make it out onto the street in front of the house where it hadn't been plowed and managed to ONLY take 40min. to drive a block to the main road.

Final count was 28 inches at my grandparents house. They have never seen ANYTHING like this(they are 80)

I also skied all day on sat, but it was so deep and not steep enough, it was quite laborious.

yea, we are expecting another 8-12" tues. into wed. and this more this weekend as well.

and before anyone says anything, im not 16, im not 18, my parents did not pay for any of this. Im 24 and build racecars 50hours a week and work sats. and suns. instructing skiing.
I built the honda by hand. built motor, built rear diff/axles/etc. and fabbed my own trans. bellhousing to mate up a 6speed TTsupra trans. into it.

hmm on second thought not diggin the rims (might just be the lighting in the pictures cause they look good in the pic with the fall trees) but that brush guard/piaa light set up is badass...and 430 hp at the wheels in the s2000? holy pisssss

wheels were $500 w/ blizzaks mounted on them. they at '05 sti BBS wheels. so they are light, cheap and require no modification, these are what I normally rock:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM TUESDAY TO MIDNIGHT EST WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

LOW PRESSURE MOVING FROM THE TEXAS GULF COAST TONIGHT WILL HEAD INTO THE OHIO VALLEY TUESDAY. THAT LOW WILL GIVE UP ITS ENERGY TO A COASTAL STORM... WHICH WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE NORTHERN NORTH CAROLINA COAST LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY EVENING. BY WEDNESDAY MORNING... THIS NOR/EASTER IS FORECAST TO INTENSIFY STRONGLY JUST SOUTHEAST OF OUR AREA... AND LIKELY BRINGING HEAVY SNOW TO A GOOD PART OF OUR AREA OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY.

SOUTHEAST OF INTERSTATE 95 THE SNOW MAY MIX WITH SLEET AND RAIN AT TIMES DURING THE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY. THIS IS MORE LIKELY CLOSER TO THE COAST. BUT AS COLDER AIR WRAPS AROUND THE STORM EVEN THESE AREAS ARE EXPECTED TO CHANGE BACK TO ALL SNOW.

TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 10 TO 18 INCHES WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS OVER THE NORTHERN EASTERN SHORE OF MARYLAND, NORTHERN DELAWARE AND EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA. HEAVY SNOW SHOULD OCCUR IN TWO BURSTS ACROSS THE REGION. THE FIRST WILL OCCUR TUESDAY NIGHT WITH FOUR TO EIGHT INCHES LIKELY TO ACCUMULATE BY THE MORNING COMMUTE WEDNESDAY. THE SECOND SHOT WILL BE AN EVEN MORE INTENSE BURST OF HEAVY SNOW WITH THE UPPER AIR DISTURBANCE ITSELF THAT SHOULD OCCUR IN THE PHILADELPHIA AREA, MARYLAND AND DELAWARE DURING WEDNESDAY MORNING AND NEW JERSEY AND NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA DURING WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. Haha I hear ya, where I'm at in NY we keep getting missed by about 50-100 miles also, and we get missed by the lake effect by about 50-100 miles also......i see grass everywhere, very depressing
