first off, i am not completely neutral, as you might see soon
second, where i live, football is totally unknown, so ns is (without registering myself somewhere else) the best place to talk about that.
so.....
i think manning ended the discussion himself. his good yardage in SB 44 will be used by his fans to show that he has a better all-time QB rating (even in the postseason) as brady. but who cares, if one pick negates 120-130 yds of passing (the last and second to last drive)?
furthermore brady broke the single-season TD record which manning set up earlier. he had 300 yds & 1 td more, while throwing 2 ints less.
brady is 14-4 in the postseason, while manning is 9-9.
of course, mannings regular season durability on such a high level deserves respect, but i think the NFLs all-decade team of the 2000s would without question want to have tom brady at the helm with the game on the line.
both have their ups and (little) downs and if they were drafted by the respective other team, the outcome would probably be somewhat the same
